Templates are shown when using Step 1 in the Email Studio.
To start an email from a template you must go through Step 1 in the Email Studio.
To Open the Template Library outside of Step 1
1. Go to Email Account > Template Library
You cannot start an email from the template library outside of Step 1. If you need to access the template library outside of Step 1, you must request that be turned on.
For each Template will see the following:
• Title – The name of the Template will be shown across the top.
• Hamburger Menu – Located to the right of the title, this will let you select “View” or “Bookmark”
• Thumbnail – A image preview of the Template will be displayed. If you hover your mouse over the Template thumbnail you will see a larger preview. Click the thumbnail to see a full-size version of the Template.
Themes:
In this area, you will see pre-made, mobile-friendly templates organized by type. You can search by category or Name. Use these to give you a jump start in creating the perfect email.
Below are the options you have to interact with each template:
• View – Click on the template to see a full-size version of the email. You can also view the email by clicking “View” in the hamburger menu.
• Bookmark – Open the hamburger menu to bookmark this template.
Blank Canvas:
In this area, you will see mobile-friendly templates that you can start from scratch with. You can change the color of any of these in Step 2 – Content.
Below are the options you have to interact with each template:
• View – Click on the template to see a full-size version of the email. You can also view the email by clicking “View” in the hamburger menu.
• Bookmark – Open the hamburger menu to bookmark this template.
Custom:
Check with support to see if this feature is enabled for your account. Some features may not be visible or available in your account.
In this area, you will see any Custom Templates you created or requested. To request a Custom Template select Request a Custom Template.

Below are the options you have to interact with each custom template:
• View – Click on the template to see a full-size version of the email. You can also view the email by clicking “View” in the hamburger menu.
• Download – Let’s you download the HTML of the email.
• Configure – This lets you make changes to the template. Go here for more information.
• Delete – Delete the custom template. This can be used if you have an updated one to have in place of the old one.
In order to configure a template, you must request from support to have the template upload feature turned on.
Bookmarked:
In this area, you will see the email templates that you have bookmarked.
Below are the options you have to interact with each bookmarked template:
• View – Click on the template to see a full-size version of the email. You can also view the email by clicking “View” in the hamburger menu.
• Remove Bookmark – Open the hamburger menu to remove the bookmark for this template.
Check with support to see if this feature is enabled for your account. Some features may not be visible or available in your account.
Legacy:
In this area, you will see our Legacy editor templates. These are not mobile responsive. To learn more about the Legacy editor, go here.
