Legacy Email Editor Overview

Uploading your own HTML requires approved access to our Legacy Editor.

Contact support so we can turn this feature on for you.

We steer people away from uploading their own HTML, because of increased level of difficulty, however,  we do allow users with HTML knowledge to use this method.

Select your From Name:

• The From Name is shown in the recipients’ inbox. It usually appears with the From Email Address or by itself. Your Company Name is used for the from name by default. If you need to use a different From Name and Company Name contact support to turn on this setting.

• The From Email address that is shown in the recipients’ inbox.  You may need to add or remove From E-mail addresses by selecting Edit List button.

Depending on the recipients’ email program the From Address can appear differently. Your From Email Name may appear instead of the From Email Address or both may be shown.

Examples:
From Email Name <from.email.address@your.email.com>
From Email Name
from.email.address@your.email.com

Select Subject -this will be the Subject that appears in a contact’s email inbox. Optionally you can use Emojis to liven up your subject and attract more attention.

Most newer email programs with have no issues displaying Emojis. In older email programs they may appear differently or not at all.

Enter Preheader – this text will appear next to or under the subject line in most email clients.

Check with support to see if this feature is enabled for your account. Some features may not be visible or available in your account.

Upload/Download HTML, Image, and Document Files for Administrators  – For Advanced users only, if you have requested special access to upload and download files you will see this section.  Go here for more info on Advanced – Upload/Download files.

Enter your email Text and Image content.

Mouse over and click the editable areas of the email to show the Email Content Editor Tool Bar.

After you have finished with your changes select the Save button.

To cancel all changes select the Cancel button.

Select the actions below for sections of content:

Add Paragraph – Select this icon to Add a new Paragraph.
Move Paragraph Up – Select this icon to move a Paragraph up.
Move Paragraph Down – Select this icon to move a Paragraph down.
Delete Paragraph – Select this icon to Remove a Paragraph.

Check with support to see if this feature is enabled for your account. Some features may not be visible or available in your account.

Inbox Preview Assistant –  View an actual preview of your email in numerous Mobile and Desktop email clients. Select the “Run Preview Test button”. The test will open a new window for you to preview your email.

Content Spam Checker –  Recommended decreasing the risk of your email being labeled as SPAM.
Select the “Spam Check” button. The status of the test will be shown, either Checked or Not Checked.

Send a Test Email –  Recommended, to ensure your email looks as expected. A test email will be sent to the email address(s) entered.
Select the “Send Test Email” button. The status of the test will be shown, either Sent or Not Sent.

Select the Save and Continue” button to proceed to the next step.
