Campaign Reports

Go to Reports on the left navigation menu to find Campaign Reports (this is also the reports dashboard).

By default, the report for the last email campaign sent will be displayed. Scroll down the page to find previously sent issues.

Use the tabs to see issues that are auto-senders, referral, and triggered campaign reports.

Click the bar graph icon next to the email you want to view the report for and this will open the full report for that specific email.

 

Single Email Campaign Report:

Campaign Name – Title of the report will be the same as the name of the campaign for that issue

Sent Date – Use the Previous and Next links to quickly select previous sendings of the email campaign.

Download –  Hover to display the following:

  • Download PDF – Downloads a PDF version of the email.
  • Download as Image -Downloads a PNG image of the email.

Share – click to display the following:

  • Send Report via Email
  • Link to Email – A link to this email that you can copy and paste to your website and elsewhere.
  • Share on Facebook – Select here to post to Facebook.
  • Share on Twitter– Select here to post to Twitter.
  • Share on LinkedIn – Select here to post to LinkedIn

Subject – Email Subject displayed to recipients.
Pre – Hover over to see the PreHeader.
From –  Email From displayed to recipients.

Understanding the Tabs

Below the subject field you will have labels for four tabs:

Summary – this is displayed by default

Engagement – this will show you more details on the people who had opened the message including open duration

Email clients – this provides details on what type of device the email was opened on, as well as the email browser that was used

Geolocation – this displays a heatmap based on the regions your email was opened most

Summary Tab

Bar Chart

This is a visual display of the Open rate, Click rate, and Bounced rate.

To the right of the bar chart you will see:

Sent Total 
Opened
Clicked
Bounced
Unsubscribed

Below the bar chart you will see:

Received
Forwards
Prints
Unopened Emails

Clicks per Unique Opens
Complaints

Social Media Statistics:

This area of reports will only appear if you have decided to post your email to your Social Media. 

Facebook: This will show you how many Shares and Likes your post receives.  You may only post to your Facebook business page. You can no longer post to your personal page. 

LinkedIn: This will show you how many Comments and Likes your post receives. 

Twitter This will show you how many Favorites and Retweets your post receives. 

 

Statistics Bar Chart (wide)

A graphical representation of the email campaign report data.  Hover over the graph bars to get more info. Click graph bars to see the email contacts associated with the events. Hover over graph line points to get more info. Click graph line points to see the email contacts associated with the events.

Zoom  – Select the zoom level of the graph in hours, days, or a week. Use the slider and handles at the bottom of the graph to create a custom zoom level.

Download Icon – click to reveal the following options

Download PDF – Creates a PDF version of the chart that you can download.
Download as Image – Creates a PNG image of the chart that you can download.
• Download as CSV– Creates a CSV file of the report data.

Print Icon –  Prints the current chart view.

Check the boxes to add these data points to the bar graph

Engagment Tab

The engagement tab looks similar to the summary tab, but this provides more detail on the contacts that opened this email

Bar Chart

This is a visual display of the recorded Read, Skimmed, Glanced, and Blocked Data

To the right of the bar chart you will see:

Opened – number of individual contacts that opened at least once (total opens are listed in this row also)
Read – number of individual contacts that had kept the email open in a browser for longer than 7 seconds
Skimmed – number of individual contacts that had kept the email open in a browser for 2-7 seconds
Glanced- number of individual contacts that had kept the email open in a browser for less than 2 seconds
Blocked – number of individual contacts that blocked the measurement

Opens are measured using a 1px transparent gif image.

A blocked measurement occurs when the person who had opened the email didn’t download the images. We know they opened only if they also clicked a link in that same email.

Below the bar chart, you will see four pie charts. Each chart represents a device type and displays the engagement based on device.

You can download, print, or expand any of the charts by clicking the icons above them.

 

Email Clients Tab

The email clients tab looks similar to the summary tab, but this provides more detail on the devices used

Bar Chart

This is a visual display of the recorded Desktop, Tablet, Mobile, and Other device Data

To the right of the bar chart you will see:

Opened – number of individual contacts that opened at least once (total opens are listed in this row also)
Desktop – number of individual contacts that viewed the email on a desktop.
Tablet – number of individual contacts that viewed the email on a tablet.
Mobile – number of individual contacts that viewed the email on a mobile device.
Other – number of individual contacts that viewed the email, but the device could not be defined.

Similar to the Engagement Tab, you will see four pie charts below the bar chart. Each chart represents a device type and breaks down the browsers that were used to view this email.

You can download, print, or expand any of the charts by clicking the icons above them.

Geolocation Tab

The geolocation tab displays a world map. The map will be darker blue in the regions that had more engagement activity.

You can change which data point the map is displaying under the metric drop down menu above the map. Options include:

Opens
Clicks
Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile opens
Reads, Skims, or Glances
Forwards
Prints

Click on a country to drill down into the state/province level

 

Email Campaign Report List

Use the tabs to select reports grouped by:

Scheduled Sendings – Email Campaigns that had a date and time set for delivery.
Auto Senders – Email Campaigns that has been turned on for an auto sender.
Triggered Emails – Email Campaigns that have been sent out using the triggered sending feature.
E-Cards – Email Campaigns that is date triggered.
Referral Campaigns – Email campaigns that were auto-sent as part of a referral campaign.

Referral campaign reports will not display contact emails as these are email addresses of people who have not yet subscribed.

Referal campaign reports will display the total number of new subscribers generated by the referal campaign

 

Compare Reports

Select the check boxes next to the email campaign reports that you want to compare then select the Compare Reports button. (you can uncheck all of the campaigns by clicking the “clear selections” button).

Once the report generates, select raw numbers or percentage and select lines or bars for the graph. Hover over graph bars or graph line points to get more info. Click graph bars or graph line points to see the email contacts associated with the events. Below the graph, you will see the tabular data for the comparison report.

To get a tabular CSV download of all your email campaigns, select all check boxes for all email campaigns then select Compare Reports and then select download as CSV file. CSV files can be opened as a spreadsheet in Excel, or uploaded into other databases if desired.
